Nintendo has Renewed Trademark for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver

Nintendo has filed Trademark for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver and while that might sound exciting it doesn’t look like it promises anything new.

It’s already been a decade since HeartGold and SoulSilver released on the DS. Japanese Trademark usually expire ten years after being filed so the renewal was likely Nintendo keeping those Trademarks locked in the Renewal includes various products and services but there’s no mention of games.

If you’re feeling bummed the Renewal isn’t exactly a sign that sees the games again don’t forget Sword and Shield are getting crown tundra later this year.
